How do I install the LEARO door handles?

Our all-in-one solution makes installation both quick and easy.

Note: LEARO door handles are designed for properly installed doors with approx. 3 mm clearance between the door leaf and the frame.

On misaligned doors, minor adjustment may be required. If the door is skewed or incorrectly adjusted, the door handle may touch the frame – this is not covered by the warranty.

Which doors are LEARO door handles suitable for?

The door handles from LEARO are adapted to the Nordic standard, lock box 2014, which is the most widely used in the Nordic region.

What colors are LEARO door handles available in?

LEARO door handles are available in the colors white, titanium gray and black. All come in a matte gloss finish.

What material are the door handles made of?

The innovative door handles from LEARO are made of powder-coated aluminum. This provides good corrosion resistance, increased durability and ensures that the handles stay beautiful for longer.

Is the door handle gentle on the lock case?

Yes. The unique design eliminates constant downward pressure, which reduces wear and extends the life of the lock case.

Can I install the door handle on an old lock case?

Yes. The movable upper part can be adjusted so that it always gets a good grip, even if the lock case is older or worn. This provides smooth and reliable function – regardless of the condition of the door.

Who designed the LEARO door handles?

Robin Larsen, founder of LEARO, had the idea to create a new and innovative door handle in 2023. In collaboration with product development company Cody, every detail has been developed and fine-tuned to create LEARO.

Where can I buy LEARO door handles?

Care and maintenance

  • Recommended Adjustment: The door handle can be tightened from underneath. First, tighten on one side until you see the latch retract slightly, then tighten on the opposite side. This ensures an even and stable grip that keeps the door handle in optimal condition.

  • Lubrication: Use a suitable, acid-free lubricant (e.g., silicone or Teflon spray) on moving parts as needed.

  • Cleaning: Simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth and a little mild soapy water when necessary. Avoid strong cleaning agents or abrasive products to preserve the surface’s appearance for many years.

How do I know that my order has been received?

You will receive an order confirmation by email immediately after purchase.

I haven't received an order confirmation - what do I do?

Order confirmation is automatically sent to the email address you provided when ordering.

Check your junk/spam. If you can't find it, contact us at hello@learo.no and we will help you.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We process orders quickly to ensure short delivery times.

If you want to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at hello@learo.no – we will help if the order has not yet been shipped.

Payment

What payment methods do you offer?

We offer secure and flexible payment solutions such as Visa, Vipps and Klarna – all via Shopify Payments.

Is it safe to shop with you?

Absolutely. We use encrypted and secure payment solutions through Shopify, so you can shop safely with us.

When will I be charged for the purchase?

Payment is only made once the order has been confirmed. If you choose Klarna, you can also postpone payment or split the purchase as you wish.

Freight

Which countries do you deliver to?

We ship to Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland.

We are working on expanding to more markets soon.

Who will deliver my package?

Your package is handled safely and efficiently by Bring and DHL Express.

What is the delivery time?

In Norway, your order is normally delivered within 2–5 business days.

For other countries: 4–8 business days.

Tracking link will be sent by email as soon as the package is on its way.

Do you ship with tracking?

Yes, all our shipments are delivered with tracking - you can follow the package all the way home.

Right of withdrawal

Regretted your purchase? We're happy to help you.

We hope you are happy with your purchase – but should you change your mind, you of course have the right to cancel within 14 days after you receives the item.

How to use the right of withdrawal:

  • Fill out and submit our cancellation form.
  • Once we have registered the form, you will receive information on how to return the item safely and easily.
  • The item must be unused and be returned in original packaging.

How do I return an item?

If you wish to return an item, you are responsible for sending it back to us.

Before you send anything back, please fill out our return form.

Once we have received and registered the form, you will receive instructions on how to complete the return.

Do I have to pay for a return if I have a right of withdrawal?

When using the right of withdrawal, you as the customer will cover the return costs yourself.

However, we offer a simple solution: You can choose to use our ready-made return label for a fixed amount of 89 kr, which will be deducted from the refund.

This makes the return safe and easy for you.

When will I get my refund?

Once we have received and approved the item, we will refund the purchase amount to the same payment method used when ordering.

When paying via Shopify Payments (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, or Klarna), the refund will normally be visible in your account within 3–10 business days, depending on your bank and card issuer.

Important information

The product must be unused and returned in its original packaging.

You are welcome to use the outer packaging the item came in, but remember to remove old shipping labels.

Do not write or tape directly on the original packaging.

If the product is returned used, damaged, missing parts or original packaging, we reserve the right to make a reduction in the refund.

Can I change the color of the door handle I received?

Yes, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. You can exchange for a different color if the product is unused and in its original packaging.

  2. Wait for confirmation from us before submitting the item.

  3. Once you have received confirmation, pack the product securely in its original packaging.

  4. Attach the exchange form or write the order number

  5. Send the package to the address below

Do I have to pay for the exchange?

If the exchange is due to the wrong color choice or reordering, you will cover the shipping costs for the return.

Complaints

I have received the wrong or damaged item – what do I do?

We apologize for that!

In order to process your complaint as quickly and correctly as possible, please fill out our complaint form. Attach a picture and a short description of the problem to the form.

Once we have received and registered the form, we will follow up and send you a new item if applicable.

If you are asked to return the product, it must be sent back to us together with a completed complaint form - either digitally or enclosed in the package.

What is covered under a complaint?

A complaint applies when there is a defect or deficiency in the product that is not due to normal use, incorrect assembly or wear and tear over time.

Here are some examples of what may be a valid complaint:


  • Missing parts upon delivery

  • Manufacturing defect or malfunction

  • Cosmetic defects such as scratches, peeling paint or discoloration – if it is clear that it is not due to use

  • Wrong item delivered

How long does the right of complaint last?

We follow applicable consumer laws in the countries we deliver to.

In general, we offer a warranty period of up to 2 years from the date of purchase for manufacturing defects and defects that occur during normal use.

How do I return an item?

If you wish to return an item due to a fault or damage, please first fill out our returns form. This helps us process the matter quickly and correctly.

Once we have received and approved the form, you will receive further instructions along with a return label from us – shipping is covered by LEARO for approved complaints.

We do our best to resolve the matter as quickly and smoothly as possible.
