Privacy Policy for Learo AS
This privacy policy describes how Learo (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “us”) collects and uses information about visitors to our websites. The policy includes information you are entitled to when information is collected from our website, and general information about how we process personal information.
Learo is the data controller for the company's processing of personal data. This means that we are responsible for complying with the Personal Data Act, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection regulations when handling personal data collected through your use of our services. It is voluntary for those visiting the websites to provide personal data in connection with services such as receiving newsletters and using the share and tip service. The basis for processing is the consent of the individual, cf. GDPR Article 6, No. 1, letter a, unless otherwise specified.
Collection of Personal Data
Upon purchase
When you shop with us, we ask you to provide your full name, address, email and telephone number in order to send you an order confirmation and/or receipt for ordered products and to be able to deliver ordered and purchased products to your home. Our business customers are also encouraged to provide their company name. The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject (our customers and end users) is a party, or to take steps at the data subject's request prior to entering into a contract, cf. GDPR art. 6, no. 1, letter b.
When managing customer relationships
Furthermore, we may process personal data that our end users choose to provide themselves (e.g. name and email address) in order to be able to administer your customer relationship and have the opportunity to contact you if necessary. This information will be stored as long as you have an active customer relationship with us. The legal basis for the processing for this purpose is consent, cf. GDPR Article 6 No. 1 Letter a.
Payment by card
In order for our payment service provider to be able to process payment for your goods, you will be asked to provide payment information. This information is stored exclusively with our payment service provider . The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject (our customers and end users) is a party, or in order to take steps at the data subject's request prior to entering into a contract, cf. GDPR art. 6, no. 1, letter b.
We retain payment information (but not card numbers) only for as long as necessary to ensure efficient handling of any issues with charging, cancellation of reservations and crediting.
Saving card information
If you want to shop extra quickly, you have the option to save your card information with our payment provider or in your browser. We never store information that can be traced back to your card number.
Web analytics and cookies
This website uses cookies (small text files that the website stores on the user's computer). Cookies are a text string that is stored on your PC or mobile device when you visit Bodymarker's websites. They are necessary for you to be able to register and make a purchase. If you do not want to allow the use of cookies, you can ensure this by changing the settings in your browser or on your device. It will be possible to view products without using cookies, but not to make purchases. We store a permanent cookie that is used to recognize you when you return. This is deleted when you log out of your account. We also collect and store log data about which categories and products our customers click or search for, in order to learn what our customers are interested in, as well as improve product selection and offers.
As an important part of our work to create a user-friendly website, we look at the usage patterns of those who visit the website. We analyze user behavior to improve the user experience. The purpose of using cookies is therefore to improve the customer experience. To analyze the information, we use the analysis tool Google Analytics 4.
Google Analytics also uses cookies, which register users' IP addresses and provide information about the individual user's movements online. Examples of what the statistics give us are; how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites the users come from and which browsers are used. None of the cookies allow us to link information about your use of the website to you as an individual. Data related to cookies is automatically deleted 14 months after registration. You can manage the use of cookies yourself by adjusting the settings on your browser .
The information collected by Google Analytics is stored on Google servers in the United States. The information received is subject to Google's Privacy Policy .
An IP address is defined as personal data because it can be traced back to a specific piece of hardware and thus to an individual. Bodymarkers anonymizes the user's IP address before the information is stored and processed by Google. This means that the anonymized IP address cannot be used to identify the individual user.
Your IP address is also logged for a short period by our web servers. The user's IP address , time, URL , HTTP status , number of bytes sent, HTTP referrer and HTTP user agent are logged for 15 days. After that, the log is automatically deleted.
Remarketing
Third-party providers Google and Facebook also use cookies and anonymous identifiers on Bodymarkers.com to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Bodymarkers.com uses remarketing, demographic and location-based targeting, and other types of interest-based marketing through Facebook, Google AdWords, and Google Analytics. If you do not want to send data to Google Analytics, you can prevent this by following this link on Google's Opt-out pages .
Newsletters and other communications
We offer all our customers the opportunity to receive emails with suggestions, tips and offers. You can easily opt-in to this by clicking on the link at the bottom of the website. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link in the email. From time to time, we will communicate about functionality, changes or news in services and products or other information that is believed to be relevant to the individual user of our service. According to the Marketing Act §15, third paragraph, we consider an active user account with us as consent to this. Opting out of all types of inquiries (other than those required by law and necessary to perform the services we offer) can easily be done by contacting us.
In order for us to send you emails, you must register an email address. The legal basis for processing for this purpose is consent, cf. GDPR Article 6 No. 1 Letter a. This information is not shared with other businesses, and is deleted when we are notified that you no longer wish to receive information from us. The information is also deleted if we receive feedback that the email address is no longer active.
Page and service functionality
Cookies are used in the operation and presentation of data from websites. Such cookies may contain information about the language code for the language selected by the user. There may be cookies with information that supports the load balancing of the system so that all users are ensured the best possible experience. For services that require login or search, cookies may be used to ensure that the service presents data to the right recipient.
Personal data to third parties
Learo does not sell personal information to third parties, nor do we exchange or forward such information with third parties unless this is necessary to perform specific services for Bodymarkers. In such cases, strict agreements are entered into to ensure information security. In addition, Learo will always determine how the processing of the information will take place in line with our privacy policy applicable at any time.
Sharing of information
We may share your information:
With the general public if you submit content to one of our forums, such as blog comments, social media posts, or other features of our services that are visible to the general public;
With third parties such as other websites that integrate with our API or our Services, or those with an API or service that we integrate with;
Any necessary third parties engaged by us, including data processors, suppliers, consultants, marketing partners and other service providers who need access to such information to perform work on our behalf;
In response to an information request by a competent authority if we believe disclosure is pursuant to or otherwise required by applicable law, regulation, license or legal process;
In connection with or in negotiations for any merger, sale of corporate assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing or acquisition of all or part of our business by or to another business;
If we otherwise notify you and you consent to the sharing;
And in an aggregated and/or anonymized form that cannot in any reasonable way be assumed to be used to identify you.
Security
We have established procedures to handle personal data securely. The measures are both technical and organizational in nature. We conduct regular assessments of the security of all central systems used for handling personal data, and agreements have been entered into that require suppliers of such systems and partners to ensure satisfactory information security.
Your rights
You may at any time request access, restriction, correction, portability (right to data portability) and erasure of personal data that we hold about you. You also have the right to request a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format. In some cases, we are required by law to store and process certain categories of personal data for accounting and tax purposes. In these cases, your rights will be limited and the data will be stored in accordance with applicable accounting regulations.
If you do not wish to disclose or give us access to your personal information, you have every right to do so, but then it is not necessarily possible for us to offer you the service you request.
If you disagree with the way we process your personal data, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to make minor changes to this Privacy Policy. In the event of significant changes to this Privacy Policy, we will inform you about this on our website. You will always be able to find the latest updated version on our website. If you do not accept the new changes, we may not be able to provide you with the services you request.
Other questions or contact us
If you use the "contact us" service on our website, you will be asked to provide information about your name, email address and a custom description of what we can help you with. The purpose of this function is to enable us to easily follow up on inquiries from you as a user, customer or potential customer. The basis for processing is consent, cf. GDPR Article 6, No. 1, letter a.
